Service Directories
Akkurat has been involved in the production of a number of service directories, among them the two examples featured here:
- Directory of Services delivered by North Tipperary LEADER Partnership, Roscrea and Roscrea Primary Care Team (Client: North Tipperary LEADER Partnership)
- Family Support Services in South Tipperary - A Directory for Service Providers (Client: South Tipperary County Council)
Due to our experience in structuring service information, we were able to assist North Tipperary LEADER partnership with the design of its service directory. All service areas are easily identifiable in the directory as we used colour coding and clear structural divisions for accessibility.
In the case of the Family Support Service directory, our client, South Tipperary County Council, was looking for a functional e-Document that would enable service providers to make effective referrals to other family support services and that would support better coordination of service delivery in the county. Akkurat was commissioned to identify all relevant service providers, obtain accurate information on their service spectrum for inclusion in the directory and design the document. As web-optimised PDF, the final document has a range of user-friendly features, such as links to URLs and email addresses, a tagged index and linked table of contents.
