Service History
This book, entitled "A History of Citizens Information in County Tipperary", is an example for Akkurat's ability to apply its full service spectrum and streamline the development process of a publication in a most efficient manner.
In this case, Akkurat was able to take on all aspects of the production process based on the client's specifications. This included extensive research of the organisation's history, i.e. through newspaper archives, interviews with current and past members of the organisation, review of archived and current organisational documents and desktop research. The findings formed the basis for the six chapters contained in the book. Following a review of the draft by the client, we designed the layout of the book and performed a thorough editorial process, before finalising the document and optimising the graphic design for print purposes.
