Project Evaluations
Project evaluations are attached as a condition to most funding contracts. Akkurat is an experienced project evaluator. We know the local settings in which projects are carried out, but have the necessary distance to provide clients with a professional and independent evaluation that meets the requirements of the funder. We apply recognised monitoring and evaluation standards and would advise clients to contact us for evaluations when making a funding application, so that measures that are important for evaluation purposes can be built into the project schedule.
Featured here is an evaluation we carried out for the South Tipperary Development Company in respect of the Clonmel Community and Councillor Exchange Initiative. For the purposes of this evaluation, we reviewed the impact of the initiative in terms of stakeholder expectations, expected outcomes and models of good practice. We used data collected during and after a facilitated evaluation session as well as information obtained from a comprehensive documentary review.
The evaluation report provided our clients with a number of aspects to be considered for the planning of future events, but more importantly with sufficient evidence for the positive impact of the initiative to seek further funding.
